Saturday & Sunday

Saturday started off on a good foot. I lifeguarded in the morning for about four hours, which was actually enjoyable work compared to how the internship madness (happy madness) has been. Sitting watching children around the pool and doing a bit of manual labor never killed anyone. During my breaks from being up in chair, I was able to water jog and that was great. It’s funny how you can’t really feel your sweat or see your sweat until it starts dripping down from your head, since that’s the only part of your body that is above water haha..

After work I headed down to a family party and had THE hardest time trying to control what and how much I ate. I did go a bit over, actually a lot over if you want my honesty, and then we went out for drinks with some friends. I definitely kept my drinking in check though since I had known about the plans since that morning, so I just put in the drinks in My Calorie Counter App and then budgeted from there. Not to mention, I limited myself to Vodka and Water and a Single Margarita!

Sunday was a lot busier, but it was my workout that was hustlin’. I went on a solid run for 52 minutes, cooled down for a 15 minute walk with the dog and then swam and tread water before lifeguarding. I just felt phenomenal! Like I needed it after the day I had with all that crappy eating and then drinking the night before. Definitely successful and proud of it. However I was soooo  beat and had to take on Monday and working.. yikes

 

 

 

 

 

Workout – Saturday

Water jogged for 60+ minutes and walked the dog for 40+ minutes… Also lifeguarding for 4+ hours.

Workout – Sunday

Ran for 52 minutes. Map My Run said I burned over 900+ calories. Walked the dog for 15 minutes as a cool down. Swam laps for 26 minutes and Tread water for 15 minutes.

 Food – Saturday

According to my Calorie Counter App I burned over 3,109 calories and consumed 1,880 for the day.

Breakfast

Greek yogurt, granola, and a peach & pie crust dessert

Lunch

Greek yogurt, a salad with mixed greens, little bit of honey dijon dressing, tomatoes, chickpeas, sunflower seeds, some feta, and a small cup of turkey chili.

Dinner

Spinach and artichoke dip, salad with all the toppings, mushroom risotto, swedish meatballs, spaghetti and meatballs, veggie lasagna, chicken picatta, cheesecake, and cupcakes.

Snack

Vodka and water and a Margarita

Food – Sunday

According to my Calorie Counter App I burned over 3,955 calories and consumed 1,009 for the day.

Breakfast

Cereal

Lunch

Greek yogurt, granola, a salad with mixed greens, cucumber, little bit of honey dijon dressing, tomatoes, celery with peanut butter, red peppers, clementine, and a banana

Dinner

Some cooked spinach, mushrooms and couscous

Snacks

Soft pretzel and some chocolate malt
