June 13th Hump Day Blues

I did not work out again today… There was definitely a series of events that knocked me down more than a few notches and they’re starting to dishearten all the process I’ve been making. Number One: My hip injury is a serious problem. Number Two: The Scale has been messing with my head. Number Three: Family criticism and their overall ‘crap’. I’m at the point where I know it takes more than a few days to lose the weight and get trim and toned but DARN! is this hard! Sheesh. (that was without the swear words). Honestly having a rough time not working out..

Food

According to my Calorie Counter App I burned over 2,484 calories and consumed 1,456 for the day. Breakfast was (shitty) blueberry muffins, a banana, and coffee with the works. Lunch was a mixed greens salad with ranch, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, sunflower seeds & shredded mozzarella cheese, and some whole grain goldfish crackers for a snack at work. I ended up going to happy hour and that kind of influenced my decision to not go workout as well. I had 2 Margs, and barely had any of the appetizer which was chips, salsa, queso, and guac. When I got home I had some of my leftovers from earlier in the week, but made sure not to overindulge either; garlic couscous, chicken and a lot of milk. Overall, not the healthiest, but it was fun.
