June 12th So Icy, of the Ice Bag and Ice Cream Variety!



Decent day to say the least, had a plan that I would be strategically taking today off, as an ‘off day’ from working out because my hip pain has been borderline unbearable. I have done some research and found that it isn’t my IT Band, it’s bursitis in my hip, which is making my entire left leg a problem. Which is almost worse than before I’d say. It’s definitely an overuse and irritated injury and it’s not forgiving with the time I’ve been trying to take off, the ibuprofen or icing either. I can barely sleep comfortably and wake up and can barely move. This is unpleasant. Also, I knew I was going to be babysitting/hanging out with family tonight so as soon as I found out that we were having pizza, I put in two slices in my calorie counter app so as not to overeat the rest of the day, and damn did it work! I didn’t overeat and stayed close to/under my 1400 cals a day.


According to my Calorie Counter App I burned over 2,466 calories and consumed 1,436 for the day. Breakfast was Honey Nut Cheerios with Milk, a banana, and coffee with the works. Lunch was a Greek yogurt, pineapples & strawberries, a tuna salad (protein) mixed greens salad with a little bit of bleu cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots & shredded mozzarella cheese. For dinner I had my two pieces of pizza with mushrooms and a cup of pralines and cream for dessert. That’s the trouble with hanging out with my little sisters who can eat anything and everything still! However, I’d been craving both and I’m glad I could finally have some but portioned out and didn’t go overboard!
